I am a freelance theatre director, actor, and educator currently serving as the Managing Director for Theatre in the Round Players in Minneapolis, MN. I believe strongly in the power of theatre to teach empathy, compassion, vulnerability and collaboration.
I am especially interested in the collaborative nature of theatre; I have often worked on new works and am also interested in devised theatre. This passion for collaboration was a focus of my studies at the University of North Dakota; in my Master's thesis, I explored methods of directing and teaching which emphasize collaboration and empowering young actors.
